Over the past couple of years, or so, a trend began to emerge. A noticeable percentage of our purchasers started out with a small and inexpensive handpiece unit known as the Quasar SP. Most of these people admitted that they had really wanted a DermaWave initially, but money was tight at the time - even with the excellent pricing of our offerings. So they temporarily purchased a Quasar until they were a little more flush with cash. Further, many came to realize that while the initial buy-in price of the Quasar was cheap, going beyond one head led them on a pathway of poor economy. And the Quasar SP - with its "sequential pulsing", otherwise known as a simple "chase circuit", also used in some Christmas light controllers and several toys - (though the Mattel-Hasbro 'Simon' game-play circuitry is actually more advanced), endeavoring to eliminate light-based 'harmonics' (phase cancellation, actually), reduces the Quasar's output efficiency to a mere 25% for any given cluster of LEDs, at any point in time -- a phenomenon that doesn't plague the DermaWave's innate design in the first place. That is, no matter how fast it seemingly 'flashes' to the eye, as a 'mostly-on' illusion, the Quasar unit lights only 6 active LEDs at any given time - in either of its two pulse modes. The DermaWave pumps 30 of them, at a pop. And no, this isn't cherry-picked information, people. Any high school student coming out of Electronics 101 could tell you the same thing. In fact, not just by using higher output LEDs -- but by the very way the Cubic 5 handles them -- results in an output efficiency over 16 fold, relative to the Quasar. Oh, it also overtakes anything from, say, Revitalight -- or most any other $5000+, big box machine. No, we're not kidding. We can demonstrate and prove it - anytime, any place. Any show, any hour. Indeed, on a per centimeter/2, per second basis - the Cubic 5 will overtake the GentleWaves panel system, costing around $30,000 (but the Cubic 5 session will take a little longer because it uses a hand-movable head, rather than a panel).
And as a true system, we've got a variety of system heads ... from the stunningly

of the Cubic 5's Dynamic Feedback Loop ... even when using different wavelengths
at the same time, at different face locations. We even have a way to run
four heads at once, should you be a mutant with additional hands -- or an
Esthetician School that likes to "share a machine" among students, running
different sessions at once. Line extensions are also available for the heads
in an instance such as this. Retracting coil cords, adapters, plugs -- they're
all available as part of a true system -- all of them fully modular
and user interchangeable (no solder-fixed connections to any
of our heads or console). Just snap them on ... or in. But it gets

In fact -- and this is compelling -- we specifically designed the Cubic 5 console and heads to use cords, plugs, and adapters you can pick up at any Radio Shack. Need to run a head some 20 feet away from the console? You can get what you need within 10 minutes, just around the corner. Did a client's little poodle chomp down on your standard cord? You can fly to Radio Shack a little faster, perhaps ... 5 minutes, say (the naughty little dog will still be alive, if with regret - the DermaWave 'short-fault' circuit design actually protects that dog ... really). And most things will cost you less than $10 ... available locally. You want a 'Y' branch adapter to multi-task at your Esthetician School, you say? ... $4.99. No more paying $90 for some proprietary cord or patch plug only available from the distributor (check out the price of a simple, Revitalight 'Y' adapter sometime). This nickel and diming - to the tune of many dollars - is an industry standard of wicked dimensions. Not so with DermaWave.
